Peach Milkshake

This is a peach milkshake!

Milkshakes actually started out as an alcoholic eggnog-like drink that was invented around 1885 in the United States.

Around the turn of the 20th century, it began to evolve more into what it is today with the addition of flavoring and ice cream.

But what really led to the explosion of the milkshake into popular culture was the electric blender, when the classic thick, creamy texture of the milkshake was made possible.

Ingredients:

1. 3 peaches

2. 1 ½ cup milk

3. 3 cups vanilla ice cream

Instructions:

1. Chop up peaches into small chunks

2. Reserve about ½ cup of peach chunks

3. Add the peaches, milk and ice cream to blender

4. Blend until well incorporated

5. Serve with reserved peach chunks

Enjoy!
