Brazilian Strawberry Lemonade
Brazilian lemonade is actually a limeade. It’s called lemonade, because in Brazil, limes are known as the “Tahitian lemon.”
In Brazil, however, to order this drink at a restaurant, you’d need to ask for “Swiss lemonade.” It’s known as “Swiss lemonade” because many years ago, sweetened condensed milk--one of the main ingredients, used to be imported to Brazil from Switzerland.
However you choose to call it, “limonada suica” is a delicious, creamy, tart twist on traditional lemonade.
